Valor Siding focuses on the residential exterior envelope. That covers siding installation on new or existing homes, siding replacement when existing cladding is deteriorated or being upgraded, and siding repair for storm, impact, rot, and panel-level damage. Material options span vinyl, fiber cement, James Hardie, engineered wood, LP SmartSide, and natural wood.

Beyond the cladding itself, a complete exterior project often involves soffit, fascia, exterior trim, and the weather-resistive barrier (house wrap) behind the siding. These components connect at the roofline, around windows and doors, and at material transitions, so they are evaluated alongside the siding rather than treated as separate from it.

Every siding project starts with the existing exterior. The current material, its age and condition, and the extent of any damage shape whether a home needs a targeted repair, a partial replacement of one elevation, or a whole-home replacement. Repair is considered first when the surrounding cladding is sound and compatible material is available; replacement becomes the better path when deterioration is widespread or the wall assembly behind the siding needs attention.

Wall preparation matters as much as the cladding. The weather-resistive barrier, flashing around openings, and the condition of the soffit, fascia, and exterior trim are all part of how a wall manages water, so they are evaluated during a siding project rather than assumed to be fine. Material and profile choices—lap, board and batten, vertical, or shake accents—are matched to the home's design, the owner's maintenance expectations, and what is technically compatible with the property.

Matching existing siding is attempted where possible but never guaranteed, because surrounding cladding fades with age and some profiles or colors are discontinued. The goal is a sound, well-detailed exterior—not a one-size-fits-all answer applied to every home.
